Tunisian Central Bank Holds Interest Rate
TUNIS (Reuters) – The Tunisian central bank announced on Saturday that it has kept its benchmark interest rate unchanged at 8%. The bank stated that current borrowing costs align with the prevailing inflation outlook.
The bank projected that inflation would average 7% for this year, subsequently decreasing to 6.2% by 2025, as mentioned in a statement following its board meeting.
