Investigation into Liam Payne's Death
BUENOS AIRES (Reuters) – An Argentine prosecutor stated on Tuesday that toxicological and other laboratory reports regarding the death of former One Direction singer Liam Payne are not yet completed. These results are necessary to release the body to his family.
Payne, aged 31, gained worldwide fame with the X Factor boy band. He died after falling from a third-floor hotel room balcony last week, prompting an outpouring of tributes from fans globally, from Britain to Buenos Aires.
The prosecutor previously mentioned that Payne's death resulted from multiple traumas and internal bleeding due to the fall. Initial investigations indicated that substance abuse may have contributed to the fall, but this needs to be confirmed by experts.
