Changpeng Zhao’s $1 Million Bitcoin Forecast

Changpeng Zhao (CZ), co-founder and former CEO of Binance, has reacted to an X post regarding his recent prediction that Bitcoin will reach $1 million.

CZ still believes Bitcoin will hit $1,000,000 but speculates on the timing.

CZ Reaffirms His Prediction

In response to a tweet referencing his forecast, CZ queried the author about the definition of “this cycle,” accompanied by a grinning emoji.

The tweet referenced CZ’s mid-April prediction made during a visit to Pakistan, where he informed the head of the newly formed crypto council, Bilal bin Saqib, that he expected Bitcoin to soar between $500,000 and $1,000,000.

CZ believes that as governments begin accumulating Bitcoin, early adopters will benefit from lower prices compared to latecomers.

While he didn’t clarify the timeframe for his prediction, CZ doubts Bitcoin will reach $1 million within this year, suggesting it will occur “over time” as the crypto industry is still in its infancy, requiring patience for growth.

Dormant Satoshi-era Wallets Move 30,000 BTC

Whale Alert reported that three significant Bitcoin wallets, dormant for 14.2 years, have reactivated. These wallets each held 10,000 BTC, now valued at approximately $1.1 billion, contrasting sharply with their 2011 values of $7,792 and $34,023.

After reactivation, the BTC from the first two wallets was transferred to anonymous addresses, possibly due to the owners rediscovering lost keys or waiting for an optimal selling price.
