Brazil's Fiscal Policy
SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Brazilian vice-president Geraldo Alckmin stated on Tuesday that Brazil will uphold a stringent fiscal policy. This announcement comes as Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's government is slow to unveil new spending containment measures.
During discussions with journalists at the United Nations' COP 29 in Azerbaijan, Alckmin emphasized that Lula has affirmed his commitment to respecting the country's fiscal framework.
