Canadian Wholesale Trade Update

Canadian wholesale trade likely increased by 0.1% in December compared to November, largely due to higher sales in the motor vehicle and motor vehicle parts and accessories subsector, according to a flash estimate from Statistics Canada released on Monday.

The estimate was based on a weighted response rate of 65.0%. Over the previous 12 months, the average weighted response rate for the survey was 82.1%.
