Canadian Home Sales Update
TORONTO (Reuters) – Canadian home sales rose 1.9% in September compared to the previous month and were up 6.9% year-on-year, according to data from the Canadian Real Estate Association released on Tuesday.
The industry group's home price index increased by 0.1% month-over-month but decreased by 3.3% year-over-year, while the national average selling price saw a rise of 2.1% compared to last year.
