Negotiations on Electric Vehicle Tariff Dispute
BEIJING (Reuters) – The Chinese commerce ministry announced on Thursday that technical teams from China and the European Commission are actively negotiating a flexible price commitment solution regarding the electric vehicle tariff dispute.
Both sides aim to reach a consensus before arbitration, as noted by the ministry’s spokesperson during a regular news conference.
Spokesperson He Yongqian emphasized China’s “strong commitment” to dialogue and negotiations for effectively resolving differences, while also expressing determination to protect the legitimate interests of Chinese enterprises.
