Bitcoin’s Market Overview
BTC has declined by 2.44% over the past 24 hours.
Bitcoin’s NUPL suggests a potential record high of $130k-$160k.
Bitcoin (BTC) has struggled to maintain upward momentum since reaching $108,364, facing downward pressure and dropping to a low of $92,118. Over the past weeks, BTC has consolidated between $92,000 and $107,000. As of this writing, Bitcoin was trading at $96,298, marking a 2.44% decline on daily charts.
Despite these struggles, stakeholders remain optimistic, viewing the decline as a market correction before another upward trend. Analysts from Cryptoquant have predicted a rally toward a range of $130,000 to $160,000, citing Bitcoin’s NUPL (Net Unrealized Profit/Loss).
Bitcoin NUPL Suggests a Bullish Rally
Cryptoquant analyst Baro Virtual suggests that the NUPL indicates Bitcoin is nearing the end of its bullish cycle and targeting $130,000 to $160,000. Bitcoin is in a phase where prices historically rally before peaking, driven by speculative buying and high profitability among market participants.
The unrealized profit/loss index has formed a cup and handle pattern, implying that unrealized profits are consolidating with a slight dip, suggesting a temporary market slowdown before a significant upward movement. Moreover, Bitcoin has successfully broken through the NUPL index’s 365-day MA, signaling a potential medium- to long-term uptrend.
BTC Chart Insights
Although Bitcoin has faced downward pressure, the long-term outlook remains positive for significant price increases.
Bitcoin’s MVRV (Market Value to Realized Value) ratio has dropped to 2.42 over the past week. Historically, a ratio between 2 and 3 is considered bullish and neutral, indicating that the market is not overheated, which allows for a reasonable risk-reward balance. This suggests stability and potential price recovery.
Additionally, Bitcoin’s SOPR (Spent Output Profit Ratio) has stabilized at 1.01, indicating neutral market conditions where long-term holders may see it as an opportunity to accumulate BTC sold by weaker hands.
Bitcoin’s NVT Golden Cross has declined to 0.98, indicating bullish divergence as increased transaction activity reflects growing confidence in the network.
