Dolce & Gabbana IPO Plans

MILAN (Reuters) – Dolce & Gabbana is not ready for an initial public offering (IPO) but is open to considering it in the future, according to the Italian luxury group's CEO, Alfonso Dolce.

"We are open to looking at a listing, but before that, we want to consolidate our business," he stated during the Milano Fashion Global Summit 2024.

He emphasized the company's social responsibility towards their employees and suppliers, stating, "We have the social responsibility of so many families."

In July, Dolce mentioned the potential for opening up the company's capital to new investors, whether through a listing or other means, in an interview with Corriere della Sera's L'Economia supplement.

Founded in 1985 by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, they continue to oversee the creative direction of the brand and do not have direct heirs. Alfonso and Domenico Dolce are brothers.
