Kilian, a co-founder of Boltz, explains that the balances of Boltz’s wallets and Lightning channels constantly shift as the volume and velocity of sats increase on the platform.

The main idea behind Boltz Pro is that users can provide liquidity for swaps when Boltz’s balances are low.

Example Scenario

If Boltz is low on its base chain Bitcoin supply, it may adjust its dynamic fee to -0.15% for Bitcoin-to-Lightning swaps, which means users earn a 0.15% fee.

Once sufficient volume flows back, fees will return to normal.
