Euro Zone Consumer Confidence
(Reuters) – Euro zone consumer confidence rose by 0.3 points in January from the December numbers, figures released on Thursday showed.
The European Commission reported a flash estimate indicating that euro zone consumer morale improved to -14.2 this month from -14.5 in December.
Economists polled by Reuters had anticipated a rise to -14.2.
In the European Union as a whole, consumer sentiment remained stable at -13.3 points.
