International Airlines Suspend Flights to Middle East

Concerns over a wider conflict in the Middle East have prompted international airlines to suspend flights to the region or to avoid affected airspace.

• Cancelled flights to/from Tel Aviv until Oct. 13.

AIR ALGERIE

• Suspended flights to/from Lebanon until further notice.

AIRBALTIC

• Cancelled flights to/from Tel Aviv until Oct. 31.

AIR EUROPA

• Cancelled flights to Tel Aviv until Oct. 14.

AIR FRANCE-KLM

• Extended Paris-Tel Aviv flight suspension until Oct. 15.
• Extended Paris-Beirut flight suspension until Oct. 26.
• KLM suspended flights to Tel Aviv through the end of the year.
• Transavia cancelled flights to/from Tel Aviv until March 31, 2025, and flights to Amman and Beirut until Nov. 3.

AIR INDIA

• Suspended flights to/from Tel Aviv until further notice.

BULGARIA AIR

• Cancelled flights to/from Israel until Oct. 31.

CATHAY PACIFIC

• Cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv until March 27, 2025.

DELTA AIR LINES

• Paused flights between New York and Tel Aviv through Dec. 31.

EASYJET

• Stopped flights to/from Tel Aviv in April, resuming on March 30, 2025.

EMIRATES

• Cancelled flights to Beirut through Oct. 15; resumed flights to Amman, Iraq, and Iran.

FLYDUBAI

• Suspended flights between Dubai and Beirut until Oct. 31.

IAG

• British Airways cancelled flights to/from Tel Aviv through Oct. 26.
• Iberia Express cancelled flights to Tel Aviv until Oct. 31.
• Vueling cancelled operations to Tel Aviv until Jan. 12, 2025.

IRAN AIR

• Cancelled all flights to/from Beirut until further notice.

IRAQI AIRWAYS

• Suspended flights to Beirut until further notice.

ITA AIRWAYS

• Extended suspension of Tel Aviv flights through Oct. 31.

LOT

• Cancelled flights to Tel Aviv until Oct. 26; first scheduled flight to Beirut is set for April 1, 2025.

LUFTHANSA GROUP

• Suspended flights to Tel Aviv until Oct. 31; flights to Tehran until Oct. 26 and flights to Beirut until Nov. 30.
• Avoiding Iranian and Iraqi airspace aside from a corridor for Erbil flights; Israeli airspace not used until Oct. 31.
• SunExpress suspended flights to Beirut through Dec. 17.

PEGASUS

• Cancelled flights to Beirut until Oct. 28.

RYAN AIR

• Cancelled flights to/from Tel Aviv until Oct. 26.

QATAR AIRWAYS

• Temporarily suspended flights to/from Iraq, Iran, and Lebanon.

SUNDAIR

• Cancelled Berlin-Beirut and Bremen-Beirut flights until Oct. 31.

UNITED AIRLINES

• Suspended flights to Tel Aviv for the foreseeable future.

VIRGIN ATLANTIC

• Extended its suspension of Tel Aviv flights until the end of March 2025.

WIZZ AIR

• Suspended flights to/from Israel through Oct. 8.
