Finland Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology, and Basic Materials sectors led shares down.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.26% to hit a new 3-month low.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were:
– Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA): rose 1.57% or 0.30 points to trade at 19.35 at the close.
– Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA): added 1.50% or 0.06 points to end at 4.28.
– Metso Oyj (HE:METSO): up 1.22% or 0.11 points to 9.13 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE): fell 4.62% or 0.56 points to trade at 11.68 at the close.
– Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM): declined 3.71% or 2.55 points to end at 66.20.
– Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV): down 3.14% or 0.31 points to 9.44.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 99 to 65, with 24 ending unchanged.
Shares in Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) fell to 5-year lows, dropping 4.62% or 0.56 to 11.68.

- Brent oil for February delivery was up 1.15% or 0.84 to $74.03 a barrel.
- Crude oil for January rose 0.76% or 0.53 to hit $70.61 a barrel.
- February Gold Futures fell 0.41% or 10.79 to trade at $2,651.21 a troy ounce.
Currency Exchange
- EUR/USD was unchanged, 0.19% to 1.05.
- EUR/GBP was unchanged, 0.05% to 0.82.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 106.89.
