Hurricane Milton Update

HOUSTON (Reuters) – Most Florida ports, including Tampa and Sarasota, were closed to all vessel traffic on Tuesday in anticipation of Hurricane Milton. In South Carolina, ports like Charleston started imposing navigation restrictions, according to U.S. Coast Guard reports.

Hurricane Milton has weakened to a Category 4 storm, moving toward the east-northeast with maximum sustained winds of 145 miles per hour (230 km/h). It is expected to make landfall in Florida on Wednesday, as reported by the National Hurricane Center.
