French inflation revised up to 1.6% in October

Consumer Prices in France

(Reuters) – Consumer prices in France rose 1.6% year-on-year in October, according to the statistics office INSEE. This is a slight revision from the preliminary reading of 1.5% published late last month.

EU-harmonised year-on-year inflation in France, the bloc's second-biggest economy, also accelerated slightly in October, compared with the September reading of +1.4%.
