$16 Million Crypto Wager on PNUT, AI16Z, ARC Turns Red
In a recent post, the user detailed that Galaxy Digital invested in three digital assets: PNUT, ai16z, and ARC. Since their acquisition, all three tokens have significantly decreased in value.
The analysis revealed that Galaxy Digital owned 21.46 million PNUT tokens at an acquisition cost of $0.3743, incurring a floating loss of $4.935 million. Additionally, they held 7.53 million ai16z tokens at $0.7446 each, reflecting a floating loss of $3.133 million. The firm also faced a $425,000 floating loss on ARC tokens purchased at $0.2913 each.
$8.5 Million Loss on Solana Tokens
The exact timing of Galaxy Digital’s purchases remains unspecified; however, the cumulative loss from these three tokens amounted to $8.493 million at the time of the post. This decline is mirrored in the falling price of SOL, the Solana blockchain’s native token, which has plummeted from a yearly high of $295 on January 19 to $168.
The ongoing fall in the value of these assets reflects a cautious attitude among cryptocurrency holders awaiting clearer regulatory guidelines, especially in light of recent movements to reform the US crypto landscape initiated by Donald Trump.
