Greece Expects Record Tourism Revenues
ATHENS (Reuters) – Greece expects record tourism revenues of about 22 billion euros ($23.24 billion) this year, according to Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni on Tuesday, representing a 10% increase from 2023.
Last year, the Mediterranean country achieved a record of 20 billion euros from tourism, which is a key driver of its economy.
"This year we expect (revenues) of about 22 billion euros," Kefalogianni stated during an interview with public broadcaster ERT.
