Greece Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Construction, Travel, and Technology sectors drove shares up.

At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite gained 0.64%.

• Piraeus Port (AT:OLPr): -3.45% or -1.00 points to trade at 28.00
• Intralot (AT:INLr): -3.05% or -0.03 points to end at 0.99
• Fourlis Hld (AT:FRLr): -1.88% or -0.07 points to 3.65

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 64 to 46, with 30 ending unchanged.

Shares in Kri-Kri Milk (AT:KRIr) reached all-time highs, up 3.66% or 0.50 to 14.15.

Commodities Update

• Gold Futures for December delivery were down 2.45% or 67.30 to $2,682.40 a troy ounce.
• Crude oil for December delivery rose 0.53% or 0.38 to hit $72.37 a barrel.
• The January Brent oil contract rose 0.26% or 0.20 to trade at $75.73 a barrel.

Currency Update

• EUR/USD was down 1.83% to 1.07.
• EUR/GBP fell 0.60% to 0.83.
• The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.63% at 105.00.
