Greece Stock Market Update

Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Household, and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite declined 0.17%.

Best Performers

The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were:
– Thessaloniki Water and Sewage Co SA (AT:TWSr): rose 3.80% or 0.12 points to trade at 3.28.
– Thessaloniki Port Authority SA (AT:OLTr): added 2.38% or 0.50 points to end at 21.50.
– Petros Petropoulos SA (AT:PTRr): was up 1.75% or 0.14 points to 8.14 in late trade.

Worst Performers

The worst performers of the session were:
– Quality and Reliability SA (AT:QUAr): fell 2.26% or 0.03 points to trade at 1.21.
– Ellaktor SA (AT:HELr): declined 1.99% or 0.04 points to end at 1.97.
– Alpha Bank SA (AT:ACBr): was down 1.97% or 0.03 points to 1.59.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 72 to 51, with 15 ending unchanged.

Commodities Update

• Gold Futures for December delivery: down 0.67% or 18.15 to $2,676.75 a troy ounce.
• Crude oil for delivery in November: rose 0.52% or 0.35 to hit $68.02 a barrel.
• December Brent oil contract: rose 0.34% or 0.24 to trade at $71.33 a barrel.

• EUR/USD: unchanged 0.04% to 1.12.
• EUR/GBP: unchanged 0.06% to 0.83.
• US Dollar Index Futures: down 0.18% at 100.06.
