Hong Kong Economic Growth

Hong Kong’s economy grew by 2.4% in the fourth quarter year-on-year, according to official advance estimates released on Monday. This marks the eighth consecutive quarter of growth.

The growth rate exceeded the mean forecast of 2.3% by eight economists in a Reuters poll. In previous quarters, Hong Kong reported:
– 1.9% growth in the third quarter
– 3.1% growth in the second quarter
– 2.8% growth in the first quarter of 2024.
