Indonesia’s Foreign Direct Investment
JAKARTA (Reuters) – Indonesia’s foreign direct investment (FDI) for the last year reached 900.2 trillion rupiah ($55.33 billion), reflecting a 21% increase compared to the previous year, as reported by the investment ministry on Friday.

In the fourth quarter, FDI was 245.8 trillion rupiah, marking a significant 33.3% increase from the same period a year earlier. This is an improvement over the third quarter, which posted a growth rate of 18.6%.
Note: The data excludes investments in the financial sector and oil and gas sectors.
