Japan’s Factory Output Decline
TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan’s factory output fell 3.6% in June from the previous month, according to government data released on Wednesday. This decline was less severe than the median market forecast of a 4.8% drop.
Manufacturers surveyed by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry anticipate that seasonally adjusted output will increase by 6.5% in July and expand by 0.7% in August.
