Japan's Factory Output and Retail Sales
TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan's factory output in September rose 1.4% from the previous month, surpassing a median market forecast of 1%.
Manufacturers surveyed by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry expect seasonally adjusted output to jump 8.3% in October but fall 3.7% in November.
Additionally, separate data indicated that Japanese retail sales in September rose 0.5% year-on-year, significantly below the median market forecast of 2.3% rise.
