Michael Saylor’s Bitcoin Plans
Michael Saylor, founder of Strategy, the world’s largest institutional Bitcoin buyer, announced on X his intention to buy Bitcoin again this week.
He shared a chart from the SaylorTracker platform, which monitors Bitcoin purchases made by his company. Saylor has consistently purchased BTC every week featured in this chart.
He noted, “It all started with a quarter-billion-dollar investment in Bitcoin,” referencing his company’s first BTC purchase.

Notably, the weeks when Strategy does not purchase Bitcoin are surprising, as the company announces BTC purchases through almost weekly filings with the SEC. Reports of capital increases for BTC purchases frequently appear.
Currently, Strategy holds $71.85 billion worth of Bitcoin, with purchases made at an average price of $71,777. With BTC currently around $118,000, the company has realized a 64% profit on its investment.
However, recent data indicates that Strategy has not yet profited from its $739 million acquisition made last Monday, facing a loss of approximately $4.4 million.
This is not investment advice.
