South Korea’s Largest Cryptocurrency Exchange Upbit Announces Altcoin Listing

Upbit, South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, started the day with exciting altcoin listing news. The exchange announced that it will list the altcoin called MOODENG on trading pairs with KRW, BTC, and USDT.

> “On July 3, 2025, MOODENG will be added to the KRW, BTC, and USDT markets on Upbit.
> The listing for MOODENG is planned on the Solana network.”

Following this news, the price of MOODENG surged by over 50%.

MOODENG is a memecoin launched on the Solana network, themed after a pygmy hippo born in Thailand’s Khao Kheow Open Zoo. Although currently not listed on Binance, MOODENG has been added to Binance’s pre-listing pool, Alpha.
