MultiversX Foundation’s Potential U.S. Office

The footer of an AI hackathon newsletter hints at a possible U.S. office for the MultiversX Foundation in Palo Alto, California, a hub for technological innovation known as the birth city of Silicon Valley.

Micha Vie from vLeap Group noted the strategic location, within walking distance of major companies like Tesla, Apple, Google, and Meta, calling it potentially “huge” news if true.

MultiversX achievements in Romania

Founded in Romania, MultiversX has made significant progress, including potential EGLD adoption in Sibiu, according to Vlad Vasiu of the Sibiu County Council. Additionally, xMoney Global, a Web3 payment provider, is launching MiCA-compliant stablecoins in Europe, including RONX, pegged to the Romanian Leu. xMoney is also in discussions with Romania’s Central Bank regarding this initiative.

In an interesting collaboration, Romania’s National Press Agency uses the MultiversX blockchain to mint daily news on ICI Bucharest’s marketplace.

MultiversX Developments in the U.S.

Discussions about opening an office in the U.S. have been ongoing since 2024, with Beniamin and Lucian Mincu confirming interest in expanding into Palo Alto. Although details remain unofficial, Beniamin expressed a commitment to growth in the U.S. market, citing its favorable conditions for funding and regulatory support.

The Mincus have been networking with key figures in the industry, including Charles Hoskinson from Cardano and executives from Coinbase, exploring potential collaborations that could increase MultiversX’s impact.

In summary, while the establishment of a U.S. office in Palo Alto remains unconfirmed, it represents a significant opportunity for MultiversX to enhance its presence in one of the world’s leading tech centers, potentially impacting its development and visibility.
