Elon Musk to Campaign for Donald Trump in Pennsylvania
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Elon Musk plans more campaigning for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in Pennsylvania, according to a source familiar with the effort.
Musk made a high-profile appearance with Trump at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he leaped into the air and threw his arms up in support of the former president.
This event marks Musk’s first appearance at a Trump rally since he endorsed him after the July 13 assassination attempt at the same venue. The source, who requested anonymity, indicated that Musk’s future appearances will be tied to his America PAC political action committee.
The Trump campaign has not responded to comments regarding the matter.
As Pennsylvania is a crucial state for Trump’s re-election against Democratic opponent Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump is scheduled to hold more rallies in Scranton and Reading on Wednesday, leading up to the election on November 5.
