Norway Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, with losses in the Media, Transport, and Diversified Financials sectors leading shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.42%.

- Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFG): +2.42% or 4.50 points to trade at 190.50
- SalMar ASA (OL:SALM): +1.87% or 10.00 points to end at 545.50
- Storebrand ASA (OL:STB): +1.39% or 1.60 points to 116.30 in late trade.
Worst Performers
- Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM): -4.61% or 7.30 points to trade at 151.00
- Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG): -3.05% or 33.00 points to end at 1,050.00
- Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS): -2.74% or 0.32 points to 11.35.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange 172 to 104, with 30 stocks ending unchanged.
Shares in Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) reached all-time highs, rising 1.39% or 1.60 to 116.30.
Commodities Update
- Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.99% or 1.38 to $70.58 a barrel.
- Brent oil for November delivery rose 1.76% or 1.28 to $73.98 a barrel.
- December Gold Futures contract increased 0.62% or 15.70 to $2,541.70 a troy ounce.
Currency Update
- EUR/NOK was up 0.08% to 11.80
- USD/NOK rose 0.41% to 10.65
- The US Dollar Index Futures remained unchanged at 101.30.
