XRP Address Growth Reaches All-Time High
The total number of XRP addresses surged to an all-time high of 6.87 million on March 1, despite XRP’s price being below its peak, according to Glassnode data from analyst Ali Martinez.
On March 5, Martinez noted an impressive 620% week-over-week increase in active XRP addresses, jumping from 74,589 to 462,650.
However, XRP whales—large holders of XRP—have been notably quiet in the past week, with no significant buying or selling activity reported. This suggests a possible period of accumulation or consolidation among major players.

As of March 14, XRP is trading at $2.32, showing a modest 2.16% increase in the last 24 hours. Although this price is well below XRP’s all-time high, the network’s fundamentals appear strong.
For investors and market watchers, the rise in active addresses, previous whale accumulation, and decreasing exchange reserves point to potential upside for XRP. However, the current lack of whale activity may indicate a strategic pause before a significant movement.
Finbold will keep monitoring XRP’s price action, on-chain metrics, and whale movements for timely updates.
