Strike at Brazil’s Environmental Agency Ibama
RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) – A strike at Brazil’s environmental agency, Ibama, which approves oil licenses, continues to reduce the nation’s oil output by approximately 120,000 barrels per day. This occurred even after workers reached a deal this week to end their mobilization, according to the oil lobby group IBP.
IBP president Roberto Ardenghy stated that oil output in Latin America’s largest economy is expected to normalize in two weeks, following a union signing an agreement with the government on Monday to conclude the strike.
