PayPal Expands Cryptocurrency Capabilities for Businesses
PayPal has announced that it will allow businesses to accept 100 cryptocurrencies on its platform, including popular options like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana.
The new feature, called Pay with Crypto, will enable users to convert cryptocurrencies to stablecoins or other fiat currencies. This service will support transactions for various wallets, including Coinbase, Kraken, and MetaMask.
According to Alex Chriss, PayPal’s president and CEO, “Businesses of all sizes face incredible pressure when growing globally, from increased costs for accepting international payments to complex integrations. Today, we’re removing these barriers and helping every business of every size achieve their goals.”
