Porsche Recall Announcement
(Reuters) – Porsche is recalling 27,527 electric sedans in the U.S. due to concerns about potential short circuits within the battery module, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
This recall affects Porsche's 2021-2024 Taycan models.
A short circuit in a high-voltage battery increases the risk of fire, the NHTSA stated.
Dealers will issue a remedy by installing diagnostic software in the vehicles and performing necessary repairs at no charge.
