Allegations Against Jay-Z and Sean Combs

(Reuters) – An amended lawsuit filed in federal court alleges that rap mogul Jay-Z raped a 13-year-old girl alongside Sean "Diddy" Combs during a party in 2000.
Jay-Z denied the allegations on social media, calling the lawsuit a "blackmail attempt" by the plaintiff's lawyer, Tony Buzbee, who has a history of filing civil lawsuits against Combs for sexual misconduct.
The lawsuit, initially filed in October in the Southern District of New York, did not name Jay-Z, referring to him as "Celebrity A." Combs, who is currently in jail facing federal sex trafficking charges, has also denied all allegations against him.
The amended lawsuit claims the unnamed girl was drugged and raped at a party hosted by Combs after the MTV Music Awards in New York in 2000.
Buzbee stated the matter is serious and will be litigated in court. He previously sought mediation with Jay-Z, who then filed a counter-lawsuit against Buzbee, which Buzbee described as an intimidation tactic.
Buzbee emphasized that his client never demanded money from Jay-Z, only seeking confidential mediation. He has also filed a lawsuit against the law firm representing Combs and Jay-Z, accusing them of harassment against his firm and family.
