Ripple (XRP), the fourth-largest cryptocurrency globally, has ventured into the gaming industry by launching a private L3 chain within B3’s open consumer ecosystem. Alongside this, XRP introduced a dedicated gaming chain and platform called Xcade.
XRP Launches New Gaming-Focused Chain Xcade
A key feature of the project is its goal to create a gaming ecosystem appealing directly to users. With this initiative, XRP aspires to become a significant player not just in financial transactions but also in blockchain-based gaming.
B3 stated that revenue from within the ecosystem will be used to buy back B3 tokens, fostering a cyclical model to support value growth in the token economy.
Previously, XRP partnered with SuperGaming, capturing attention when B3 launched on GameChain, showcasing its robust infrastructure and potential for integration with Web2 gaming firms. This experience highlighted B3’s capacity to broaden its consumer application ecosystem.
Currently, B3 has a market capitalization of $71.4 million. XRP’s foray into gaming indicates growing momentum for blockchain and gaming integration in the crypto market.
Experts predict that XRP, through Xcade, will attract both crypto enthusiasts and traditional gaming communities, benefitting the long-term growth of both XRP and the B3 ecosystem.
