Ripple's RLUSD Stablecoin Approval

Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin has received final approval from the New York State Department of Financial Services, as announced by CEO Brad Garlinghouse.

> "This just in…we have final approval from the New York State Department of Financial Services for RLUSD," Garlinghouse shared on X on Tuesday. "Exchange and partner listings will be live soon."

Last week, Ripple's CTO, David Schwartz, expressed optimism about launching RLUSD by the year's end during his talk at The Block's Emergence conference in Prague.

Ripple announced its plans to launch a stablecoin back in April, stating that the token would be available on Ledger and Ethereum.

Testing for RLUSD began in August. In October, Ripple revealed its exchange partners for the launch, which include Uphold, Bitstamp, Bitso, MoonPay, Independent Reserve, CoinMENA, and Bullish, with market makers B2C2 and Keyrock set to support liquidity.
