During Robinhood’s recent crypto announcements in France, including launching its own Arbitrum L2 chain, the trading app revealed a multiyear sponsorship with the French soccer team OGC Nice starting in the 2025/2026 season.
The Robinhood logo will feature prominently on team shirts and warm-up kits, along with expectations for branded content and digital collaborations.
Additionally, Robinhood will participate in a dedicated web series with OGC Nice focusing on financial accessibility, as stated by a spokesperson.
> “France is fast cementing its position as a global fintech hub — and it plays an important role in our international footprint,” said Robinhood Crypto SVP and GM Johann Kerbrat.
Kerbrat expressed personal ties to the partnership, noting his lifelong passion for football and his career beginnings in Nice. This partnership is seen as a chance to engage with a dedicated fan base and to introduce new audiences to financial products.
This week, Robinhood also announced offerings for EU customers, including over 200 tokenized stocks and ETFs and perpetual futures, although prospective traders must apply for approval.
The terms of Robinhood’s deal with OGC Nice have not been publicly disclosed. The sports sector is no stranger to crypto partnerships; for example, FC Barcelona recently introduced an NFT avatar and crypto wallet. Previously, Robinhood has sponsored several NBA teams including the Washington Wizards, Memphis Grizzlies, and Miami Heat, as well as NASCAR team 23XI.
