Trump Media Shares Rise
NEW YORK (Reuters) – Shares of former U.S. President Donald Trump's media company hit their highest level in six weeks on Thursday, climbing about 16% as part of recent gains.
Trump Media & Technology Group, 57% owned by the Republican presidential nominee challenging Vice President Kamala Harris, is up approximately 45% for the week, with shares last priced at $23.85.
Trump's odds of winning the Nov. 5 U.S. presidential election have increased recently on PredictIt, rising to 52 cents from 49 cents a week ago.
In contrast, Harris' odds remain at 52 cents, but have decreased from 55 cents in the same period, according to PredictIt.
On Saturday, Trump held a large rally in rural Pennsylvania, the site where he nearly faced assassination on July 13.
