Private Equity Merger Discussion
(Reuters) – Private equity firm Shore Capital Partners is in talks with Silver Lake Management to merge two veterinary groups in an $8.6 billion deal, as reported by Bloomberg News on Friday.
Shore is looking to combine its portfolio companies Southern Veterinary Partners and Mission Veterinary Partners, while also seeking to recapitalize the new entity with investment from California-based Silver Lake.
Both private equity firms would co-own the merged entity, contributing approximately $4 billion in fresh equity, according to the Bloomberg report.
Silver Lake and Shore Capital have not responded to Reuters' requests for comment.
