South Korea’s Government Plans to Discuss Tariffs
SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korea’s acting President Choi Sang-mok announced on Tuesday that the government would engage in talks with the U.S. administration regarding the tariffs imposed by Washington. This initiative aims to address the interests of domestic companies.
In addition, the CEOs of 20 major South Korean conglomerates are scheduled to visit the United States soon. The government also plans to discuss response measures with Japan and the European Union, according to Choi.
