Spain's Inflation Rate in October 2023
(Reuters) – Spain's European Union-harmonised 12-month inflation rate rose to 1.8% in October from 1.7% in September, according to preliminary data released by the National Statistics Institute (INE) on Wednesday.
The 12-month EU-harmonised inflation matched the 1.8% expected by analysts polled by Reuters.
Annual core inflation, which excludes volatile fresh food and energy prices, was 2.5% in October, up from 2.4% in September, the INE data revealed.
Spain's national inflation also increased to 1.8% for the 12 months ending in October, rising from 1.5% in September, as stated by the INE.
