Treasure DAO Votes to Migrate to ZKsync

Treasure DAO members have "overwhelmingly" voted to approve a plan to migrate their blockchain gaming ecosystem from Arbitrum to ZKsync, as announced on Monday.

> "Treasure will be bringing the decentralized game console to the Elastic Chain," stated the decentralized autonomous organization in a post on X. The community's vote showed an overwhelming majority (99.5%) in favor of launching the Treasure L2 as part of the ZKsync ecosystem.

Earlier this month, the proposal was submitted to DAO members. It outlined plans to launch the Treasure chain as an L2 utilizing ZKsync’s ZK Stack technology, contrary to the previous intention to use Arbitrum Orbit.

Treasure DAO also mentioned that a new public testnet named 'Topaz' is currently in progress and will be launched to allow games and players to explore and build in the new environment. The mainnet is expected to launch within the next 1.5 to 2 months.

Additionally, a token swap between Treasure and the ZKsync Foundation is slated to occur in the coming days. Treasure DAO is working closely with its more than 10 blockchain games on its web3 gaming console to ensure a smooth transition.
