(Reuters) – President-elect Donald Trump is considering North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum to be his new "energy tsar", according to a report by the Financial Times on Friday.

Burgum is Trump's preferred candidate for the position, with the newspaper citing sources familiar with the discussions. Former energy secretary Dan Brouillette is also being considered as a contender.
