Trump Names Michael Faulkender as Deputy Secretary of Treasury

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday named University of Maryland finance professor Michael Faulkender as his choice to serve as the deputy secretary of the U.S. Treasury Department.

"Mike is a distinguished Economist and Policy practitioner who will drive our America First Agenda," Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
