Trump Threatens Tariffs
President Donald Trump has threatened to impose larger import tariffs against the European Union (EU) and Canada if they cooperate to harm the U.S. economically.
> “If the European Union works with Canada in order to do economic harm to the USA, large scale Tariffs, far larger than currently planned, will be placed on them both in order to protect the best friend that each of those two countries has ever had!”

Financial markets remain steady despite this new threat, with BTC stagnant below $88,000. Germany’s DAX futures dipped 0.3%, while Wall Street futures traded flat to positive.
Market resilience may be due to Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell’s comments suggesting that inflationary pressures linked to tariffs could be temporary.
