Stephen Miran Appointed Chair of Economic Advisers

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Stephen Miran, a former economic policy adviser at the U.S. Treasury Department during Donald Trump's previous administration, has been appointed as the chair of his Council of Economic Advisers, Trump announced on Sunday.

The Council of Economic Advisers provides economic policy advice to the president.
