Trump to Address Inflation
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President-elect Donald Trump will sign a memorandum on Monday focused on combating inflation after taking office.
The memorandum will advocate for an “all of government” response to reduce costs for Americans, according to an incoming White House official.
While the official did not provide specifics on the memo’s actions, they emphasized that these would be “decisive actions.” Additionally, Trump plans to declare a national energy emergency to boost American oil and gas production, which is expected to help lower gasoline and other costs.
