U.K. Stocks Rise Post-Close

U.K. stocks saw an increase after Monday's close, driven by gains in the Banking, Oil & Gas Producers, and General Industrial sectors.

At the close in London, the Investing.com United Kingdom 100 gained 0.09%.

On the London Stock Exchange, falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones, with 926 declines against 852 gains, while 679 remained unchanged.

NatWest Group and DS Smith shares reached 5-year highs during trades.
