Biden Administration Shelves Offshore Wind Auction

(Reuters) – The Biden administration announced on Friday that it would be postponing a planned auction of offshore wind development rights off the coast of Oregon, which was scheduled for next month.

The U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, a division of the Interior Department, attributed this decision to insufficient interest from the industry.
