World Bank Updates China's GDP Growth Forecasts

(Reuters) – The World Bank on Thursday stated it has revised its projections for China's gross domestic product (GDP) growth for 2024 and 2025, reflecting the impact of recent policy easing and strong near-term exports.

• 2024 GDP Growth: Expected to rise to 4.9% from the previously projected 4.8%.
• 2025 GDP Growth: Anticipated to decrease to 4.5%, surpassing the earlier forecast of 4.1%.
