Rumor of KiloEx IDO on PancakeSwap Debunked

A rumor concerning a potential KiloEx initial DEX offering (IDO) on PancakeSwap has been clarified as a misunderstanding regarding a gas optimization update rather than a new IDO launch.

On March 27, on-chain analyst ai_9684xtpa speculated that PancakeSwap (CAKE) was preparing to launch an IDO for the KiloEx (KILO) token. This speculation arose from his observation that the same address responsible for the KiloEx IDO on Binance Wallet had also set up an IDO event on PancakeSwap.

However, another analyst, canhua1023, clarified that the same address created the KiloEx IDO event solely to optimize gas fees, reducing them from 256 to 128, which debunked the IDO rumor on PancakeSwap.

Initially, ai_9684xtpa noted that the “Create IDO” transaction was initiated by the same address that had launched the KILO IDO in Binance Wallet, but with different parameters. Unlike the Binance Wallet IDO requiring BNB for participation, the suspected PancakeSwap IDO seemed to require CAKE.

The speculation led ai_9684xtpa to suggest PancakeSwap might be preparing for a KILO IDO independently from the Binance Wallet event, especially with current interest in the BSC ecosystem.

With the rumor now dismissed, it is evident that PancakeSwap will not be launching a new IDO for KILO at this time; the “Create IDO” transaction was merely a gas optimization update.
